Your first visit
The first visit at Center for Orthodontics is always on the house! We’ll use your complimentary consultation to take a look at your mouth, explore what treatments would be best for you, and talk about your flexible payment options.

Your consultation will start when you arrive at our conveniently located office off Hwy 111 and Bob Hope Drive. Our front desk staff – including Tinkle, our friendly Maltese – will greet you when you come in.
When it’s time for your appointment, one of our technicians will take you back to get started. We’ll analyze and record your oral health, including mirrors, photos, and x-rays as needed.
Then, we’ll discuss your treatment options. This includes what kind of treatments you may need, when we can begin, and how long you can expect your smile journey to take. With this info, you’ll talk to our billing specialist about your payment options.
Questions to ask at your first visit
Since your first visit is exploratory, it’s good to make a list of questions you’d like to ask ahead of time so nothing is forgotten. Here are a few examples:
- Does it look like my smile needs treatment?
- What kind of treatments would you recommend?
- What other options could we look at?
- When is the best time to start treatment on my smile?
- How long will this treatment take?
- How much will this treatment cost?
You can also use this time to let our team know about anything in your life that might impact your treatment – such as upcoming travel plans, a wedding, or health concerns.
Can I afford orthodontic treatment?
We believe that finances shouldn’t stand in the way of your smile. At Center for Orthodontics, we offer a variety of flexible payment options with no interest. We also take insurance, and we’ll file the insurance paperwork for you.
At your first visit, you’ll speak with our financial coordinator, David Hernandez. David will help you explore your options and find a payment plan that works for your budget.
What if I have to cancel my first visit?
We understand – life can be hectic! We do ask that, when possible, you give us 24 hours’ notice. This allows us to give our staff and other patients an accurate picture of our availability.
